Notes for building a formation page for your parish
If you use photos of parishioners, be sure to get permission (children in foster care can't be on the internet, and some other parents don't want it). I also never put a child's name online (first or last)
Keep it simple, giving no more that 5 options for each category
Change things regularly, but not frequently - weekly would be nice, but monthly or even seasonally works also
Use the free resources - I've linked to many here
If you use "churchy" language, define it (I chose to say "weekly readings" rather than "lectionary"). Don't let anyone think they're stupid or not "in"
Check on copyrights - not only is it the legal thing to do, it also shows that you respect the creativity of others.
